What We Collect
When you buy a listing on the One Million Dollar Challenge wall, we collect the following information:
- Your name — displayed publicly on the wall and in the leaderboard
- Your purchase amount — displayed publicly (e.g., "$1", "$5", "$100")
- Purchase timestamp — recorded for sorting and pagination
- Message (optional) — a personal message you provide, displayed publicly on the wall
- URL (optional) — a clickable link you provide, displayed publicly on the wall
- Stripe Payment Intent ID — internal identifier for payment processing, not displayed publicly
What We Don't Collect
- Payment card details — your credit/debit card number, expiration date, and CVC never touch our servers. Stripe handles all card data directly via their secure PCI-compliant infrastructure.
- Email address — we do not request or store your email
- Location data — we do not collect or infer your location
- Browsing history — we do not track your activity across the web
- IP address — we do not store your IP address (standard HTTP access logs may be retained by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, but not by us)
Public Visibility
Your name, message (if provided), URL (if provided), and purchase amount are displayed publicly on the wall and in the leaderboard. This information is permanent and searchable. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing publicly.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your credit card information is never transmitted to our servers. Stripe's payment processing is subject to their own privacy policy and security standards. When you make a purchase, Stripe creates a Payment Intent, which we use to confirm receipt of payment and record your listing in our database.
Data Retention
Listing records (name, amount, message, URL, timestamp) are retained indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the wall and leaderboard. If you have concerns about a specific listing, email [email protected].
Third Parties
We share only the minimum necessary information with Stripe to process your payment (name, amount, message, URL as metadata). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
Cookies
We do not use cookies to track you. Your browser may store preference data locally (e.g., your pagination position on the wall), but this is stored only on your device and not transmitted to our servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
